Just over a week ago I was told by my oncologist that I had residual cancer cells following TCHP chemo & surgery 3 weeks ago with 16mm found in breast tumour & 4mm in 1 lymph node 6 were removed.
Tuesday I started IV Kadcyla!
Weds rung by my BCN as discussed at MDT I might be a candidate for a clinical trial of Kadcyla plus an immunotherapy drug or a placebo!
Am Her2+ve Oestrogen 8/8 and am 57!

Saturday my good friend got married and I had a fabulous time despite my head spinning…..!!!

Hi Amelie 11, I am sorry to hear that the tumour is coming back. How long were you in the remission before it returned. Hopefully Kadcyla give complete response. Look forward to hearing from you as I need to decide whther TCH or TCHP.

Hi Cleo 1 the tumour didn’t return it was the tissue that was removed that showed live cancer cells so TCHP did not give a complete response. Sadly this is often the case and Kadcyla is required! I finished Kadcyla last year and so far remain in remission. Good luck with your treatment too.
