I didn’t have the best of days yesterday
my oncologist gave me my results from lumpectomy.
16mm of residual cancer (live) cells found in the breast tumour tissue and 4mm in 1 out of 6 lymph nodes dissected.
So have to come off the planned Phesgo injections and start IV Kadcyla every 3 weeks for 14 doses, my poor veins…..!!
Will start radiotherapy in August and they will target breast and all remaining axilla lymph nodes. And I start Letrozole now for 10 years.
Apparently only 61% of patients have a complete response to my TCHP pre surgery and 39% go on to need Kadcyla.
Not the news I was hoping for!
Nails still looking good!!
