The main things to watch out for are diarrhoea and general gut side effects, and tiredness. Doses can be lowered if you need to and it will still have the same benefit. You might also feel tired. The list of side effects is huge, but the benefits look fantastic. I don't think this is like chemo at all, but it is a 2 year treatment. It can take 2 or 3 months to find the right dose and the best way to manage your side effects. There are groups for verzenios/abemaciclib on this forum which you can search for and find support.
