Despite being terrified, the surgery went well and I remember nothing. Currently I am pain free due to the multiple drugs floating round my body. However I didn't sleep well last night so hoping for some rest tonight. Apparently the recovery is going well and sitting in a chair for over an hour is an achievement. I think tomorrow involves longer in the chair and a short walk, and so it will go on building up to going home.
Results from the tests will come later in the week. Currently it is all about recovery.
