crap day no treatment

mums plan has nothing written on it . perhaps she never paid enough nhs tax . absolutely gutted . treatment plan joke!!!!!!!!!! what they have said she has a very large tumor in her right upper llung which isnt bothering her and that she dosent do her own shoppingso chamoe isnt worth it any way the drs said it might only give her an extra 3 monthh or kill her. hey i wanted to say this is my mum .ering her at the moment. they cant operate and cant give her chamo as she isnt mobile enough ie no treatment so what has now how long have we got mum has to go back with her large tumor in three months so fuuny i want to cry..... 5 weeks on i still have no answers large tumor not treatable i will see you in three months thanks hospital pissed of daughterxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Tracy I am so sorry to read your sad news.

Your mum can always ask for a second opinion you know. Different doctors have different ways of tackling things.

I don't really have any words that will make you feel better right now, just remember that we are here for you anytime you want to offload.

Hi Tracy,

I agree with Christine. Ask for a second opinion. It wouldnt be the first time Drs got things wrong. Look after yourself.

Hello Tracy

So sorry to read your sad news love.

I know exactly how angry and hurt your feeling even 20yrs later. My dad was diagnosed with bowel and lung cancer on his 73rd birthday, we were told he had 2-3 days to live as it was so agressive.

Our world was turned upside down and inside out, just as yours is at the moment.

I like Christine, haven't got any words that will make you feel better love but know that we do understand and that there is always someone here for you.

Oh sweetheart, you sound so frustated and angry. You want to DO SOMETHING, but the medical profession does not seem to be listening to you just now. I am not defending the medics but perhaps they have not explained everything to you as well as they might. It may be that any treatment offered may cause your mum more distress than it will gain in length or quality of life.

Concentrate on making your mum's life as happy and as comfortable as you can and make some positive memories.
