What will the New Year bring?

1 minute read time.

After a fun-filled Christmas the time has come to work off all the turkey, Boxing Day buffet, Quality Street and Twiglets.  This is going to be tough, especially when there's so much of the Christmas shop in the cupboards!!  Yesterday I undertook my first run of the year, 6 miles around the village, and man am I aching today.  I'm now waiting for my Davina Intense DVD to arrive, which I'm terrified about starting because apparently Ms McCall is a demon :|  This weekend is going to be a test - two meals out for friends' brithdays. Gawd! I've only started eating healthily, I've even resorted to snacking on dried apricots, raisins and nuts which unfortunately  aren't as tasty as Lindor choccies :(  But I did have a Yo! Sushi lunch whilst sale shopping - running around and raw fish for lunch, that HAS to be good for me!

There's nothing I hate more than scanning a menu and ruling out all the good fatty stuff.  And we're finally having our Chritsmas party next week (January, I know) which is a three course meal and a night out with cocktails-a-flowing.  I may have to become a hermit :|

I'm going to have to think of New Year's fundraising ideas.  I'm allowed to use work's coffee for a coffee morning, must find a venue.  Also face painting will go down a treat nearer Easter at work, with the flocks of yummy mummies coming in.  Mums - kids will always want their face painted rather than drink a babyccinos - coffee culture should not reach five year olds!!

I'm going to be counting my collection tins this week and hope they're worth a little bundle :)  Customers are being so generous with their donations so my sponsorship form is very slowly getting there.
