Hi all
Well it was 12 months yesterday that Derek was diagnosed, i cant believe that the year has gone so quick, now after the chemo, Total gastrectomy then more chemo he is doing fantastically well, he looks amazing even though he doesnt think so, he says he is to skinny and when he looks in the mirror all he sees are bones sticking out everywhere but i love him just the way he is.
Whe the diagnosis is given you think your world has come to an end but here we are 12 months on and christmas again only this year we are hopefully going to have a good one.
So thank you to everyone who has given us advice and support throughout this awful year, and lets all show cancer that it doesnt always win and carry on fighting.
