well had my scans last week - done by such a cheerful lady who explained EVERY SINGLE thing she was doing - and I mean everything I could have cheerfully shoved that bloody probe somewhere!!
Anyway first scan was absolutely fine but second showed abnormalities on my right ovary both around 12mm in size - could be cysts but werent there at last scan so with my history........
Im absolutely sh****ng myself especially after being told I didnt have cancer and was left for over a year believing I had a kidney cyst- I have no confidence in anything they tell me at these scans or indeed any appointment I have. A few times I have had to ask the radiographer to do the second scan and this has just proved to me I was right to and things can be missed and mistskes made - I have also had scan results lost on two occasions and had to chase them up myself - one time waiting 8 weeks !!
I just needed to moan - havent told my significant other as he is not well himself- again- so dont want to worry him when there might be nothing to worry about.
so roll on Friday results day everything crossed its ok and im one step closer to my five year all clear goal :)
