    Funny week so far. i'n feeling much better and able to most things I want to do, but looming in the back of my mind is the 2nd treatment due next monday. I think that it is harder to go in for the second dose as I now know how ill I'm going to be.

    Just in case your medical team have not told you, the following info is useful:

    • If you have cancer you are entitled to FREE NHS Prescriptions.
    • Obtain your form from your GP/Chemo Ward.
    • Prescriptions made whist waiting for the certificate to arrive, can be claimed back.  YOU MUST OBTAIN A  'FP57' RECEIPT FROM YOUR PHARMACY. (WITHOUT THIS FORM YOU WILL NOT ABLE TO CLAIM)

    Just a very quick note to everyone who has been trying to contact me. I had such a bad reaction to the meds I couldn't open my eyes let along log-on. It was truely horrible:(

    I’ve been trying to not think of what is going to happen to me once the chemo has been injected into me, but that day is getting closer and it’s playing on my mind.

    I had my first wig fitting last Wednesday and that was hilarious. One of them made me look like Rod Stuart. Although I have grown my hair quite long, the long wigs didn't look that good, so I've gone for a short hair wig. There are easier to look…
