Dad was discharged yesterday afternoon ...
We went and collected him from the hospital,he's to use a wheelchair because the walk to the main entrance from the ward was just too far and in his weekend state why walk when you can ride.
He was knackered and just wanted to sit down and get a cup of tea,me andy husband didn't stay long ,you just want folks to sling their hooks don't you ? so you can just rest, sleep, and not have to talk and try ....
Mum texted to say dad was in bed sleeping ,she then said he watched a bit of TV,he's had a shower this morning and is ok .....
I've just sat and had a cry ....these past eight weeks have been nothing but worry, stress and sleepless nights.
One day now at a time till we get the official staging ect now they have the tu.our and lymph nodes out....the MRI scans primary staging in T1/T3 N0 M0, but if course that might alter.
