    Dear Steph,

So very sorry to hear your sad news. You may not agree with me on this, but I believe the "numbness" is all part of our brain's plan to "keep us going" for want of a better way to put it. Right now it is better that you feel numb and this may last days, or even weeks, but it is something most of us who have lost a loved one feel at the beginning.

Concentrate on doing only the things you have to - like finding something bright to wear to your Mum's funeral, because it what she wanted - and take each day as it comes.  We are all different and all grieve differently too. There are no "rights" or "wrongs" when your much loved Mum has died and I know how I felt when I lost my Mums too.

You are stronger than you feel right now Steph and my thoughts are with you at this time. Your "Mac-family" are always here for you! Take care of yourself and may your Mum rest in peace.

    Love and hugs, Rosemary x x x
