RT 29 smashed early to leave just one RT sitting left to endure. Am feeling quite well (prob due to constant drip feed of morphine and anti sickness meds). Now having to go through the rigmarole of finding out who is going to top this up once I finish my daily trips to southampton. No one seems to want to take responsibility for this which is frustrating, I am not driving 2 hours + a day just to get a syringe filled and a battery changed when I am supposed to be at home resting and recovering. By chance saw my consultant whilst waiting. Plan now in place for community nurse to administer me from 29 Dec to 7 Jan. I then have my RT follow up appointment on 8 Jan when I should be well enough to come off the syringe feed and on to a smaller tablet dosage. I am more than happy with this but just need to nail down a name and a number of the community nurse now. - Fobbed off with a promise of a call from the community nurse I had had enough waiting around and set off for home. Straight to bed as first RT session after a break makes me feel lousy, meds at 2pm and then watched some xmas TV with the kids.
