Apologies for not blogging for some time I have been busy focussing my efforts on getting better and this seems to be working albeit slowly. Blood test results received today were very positive allowing me to reduce one of the medications I take and I am now waiting for the next milestone which will be obtaining the results of my full body scan which I had last Thursday. My next consultation in on 22 April, but I am hoping for the results before then. Had a nice weekend away at parents which made a nice change of scenery although the 6 hour car journey was emotional with travel sickness evident. Still it was well worth the effort and broke the monotony of recovery here at home. Eating semi solids again now salmon and creamy mash is my favourite but still cannot drink anything other than water, tea or nutritional shakes which is frustrating, it has been almost six months without a beer or glass of wine and I long for the day when I can have a pint or a glass of Pinot.... Am looking forward to something other than fish for tea tonight.

Hello Dave ... sounds like you are slowly moving forwards again which is excellent and here's hoping that you get to enjoy that beer before too long. Take care and all the best for those scan results.
glad to hear that progress, i have been reading your blog over the last few months, i went fo quite a few months without a drink then i had a really bad day and decided that a few shots were in order.....mmm result was not good combined with chemo....sillly i know but i am know for both of us there will be a day where we will be able to partake of something cold and refreshing, take care.
