Oh Dear! Woe is Me

Less than one minute read time.
Woke this morning feeling not too bad, had meds and then violent shiver spasm. Then proceeded to throw everything back up. Still shivering could not type in password to phone for about 5 mins, then requested early pickup from driver to get me to hospital. Consultancy team on standby and straight away they knew I had to be admitted. I had most definitely caught an infection which needed treating, and fast. I was told porb until next Mon, so that I could 'enjoy' christmas at home. Was soon found a ward and hooked up to a fluid drip, an antisicknees drip, an antibiotic drip and a painkiller drip. Fortunately I was so shattered I slept most of day, to be woken feeling a lot better for some x rays and RT session #25. Back to the ward and soon began feeling very low when I realised that three of the six people on the ward had been hit hard by cancer and would not see the next year out. One poor chap doesn't even rate his chances to see in 2014! So as you can guess the mood is quite sedate!
