Its The Weekend

Less than one minute read time.

Another week of recovery over, and despite the reduction in medication half way through the week I cannot comment that i feel any better or any worse.  All i do know is that my appetite is down, there is only so much you can look forward to mashed/pureed food, and i am having to drink additional nutritional shakes to keep the calories up.  Still it is the weekend and off to watch son play rugby this afternoon and hopefully get a trip to the seaside in on Sunday afternoon (will record the 6 Nations and watch when we get back).  HAve a few visits lined up for next week and my other son is home for the majority of the week to keep me company...

Enjoy the rugby. This may (may? hah!) not be vintage rugby, but there have been many ifs and buts about it this year. It was great though to see BOD grinning like a kid on Saturday. It barely seems possible it was that long ago he was a cute fresh faced lad bursting on to the international scene and exciting the punters year in year out. He's magic. His only error was not to have been been born and bred in and playing for Gloucester. They could do with some decent players who can play as a team this season.
