Hope readers appreciated the double take on yesterday's blog, at no extra charge!!! My chat with nutritionist yesterday may have revealed the cause of feeling sick. Apparently trying to flush my gastro tube with water quickly with syrlnge so as to feel the strange sensation of having a drink from the bottom up is not good 'tekkers'! Slowed it down before bed and lo and behold I didn't feel sick, best nights sleep for a while - until smoke alarm battery decided to die at 0730hrs, the warning beep waking us up! So Day 6 starts with me feeling better than the day before, which is a first since start of RT. Getting used to horrid taste at back of mouth and the salt water gargles now (have calmed down on amount of salt per ml which has helped). Great to see mam and dad (with a car full of christmas presents!), and a busy day planned for today, hoping to even venture out for some pub grub later if I am feeling up to it.
