I can safely say I have not slept as much in a week as I have this past one. Must have been averaging over 16 hours a day as part of the recovery plan and this sees me in a much better place for the rest. Still waiting for the throat to acknowledge that I am supposed to be getting better and not passing much bar water (sips) by mouth still. Am hoping this next week brakes that barrier and with a check up with consultancy team next Wednesday I am hoping for more positive news post radiotherapy treatment, after all it did all seem to go to plan. Blogs a little less frequent now as nothing too much to report really. The Stanhope and Star garden pub is taking shape with final coats of varnish being applied. Grand opening will tie in with when I can enjoy a pint again.
