    Hi Sharon

Know how you feel about the holiday. We had to cancel our holiday in July because I had to have surgery and I started chemo almost 2 weeks ago. What keeps me going?...............................the thought of having the bestest holiday ever once I've recovered from all this........................can't wait! Just hope my husband is saving hard.

    Take care

    Hi Sharon,

Kinda know how you feel, I've been off work for a while now during which time I had 2 lots of holiday time booked off but was too sore to actually go anywhere.   This nasty disease does halt you in your tracks but once the chemo is done and you recover just think of the next holiday and how great it will be.   I start my first lot of radiotherapy next week and then chemo once that's done, like you glad that its getting treatment but apprehensive too.    Hope all goes well today and just keep thinking of the next holiday.

    Take care, Lou xxxx

Hi Sharon, best of luck with treatment today.  I'm sure you'll get that holiday soon.  I went on my first holiday abroad with my partner after I finished treatment and we have gone away every year since.

Let us know how it goes for you today.  Best wishes, Christine xx

Hi Sharon - good luck with your chemo treatment today - hope it's not too bad for you.

Last year I had to cancel a holiday in Italy (for my 50th) as I had to go in hos and have a huge tumour removed. I remember thinking 'That's it! I'll never get to see Lake Garda, or go to the opera in Verona.' (We had tickets to see 'Carmen'. Well, guess what? We went this year just before my 51st birthday, and whilst we were in Verona we went to see what opera was on, and it was the last night night of Carmen. We got tickets 4 rows from the front. Meant to be or what?

While you're having your treatment, you just plan your next holiday. Let your mind drift off and even plan your holiday wardrobe!  No expense spared!

    Good luck, Jeanie x
