What a week! will it get better or worse?

Had CT Scan last friday, get results this friday so wanted to keep mind busy.

Myself & my 13 year old son have awful colds, my 5 year old little girl has a terrible chest infection & to top it off the one healthy child has broken her foot in two places so christmas holidays have started early for them all!.

The only thing I can think about is my CT Result & wether I am going to get a bit of a break for Christmas or not, soooooo tempted to phone oncologist & ask for result over phone as going to be such a nightmare with all the children Ill etc on friday also dont want to go to hospital while unwell as not fair on others.

But I am too scared to make the call :(

Hi Ya Sarah,

Going through a rough time at the moment. I dont

know if your oncologist would tell you over the phone

Its the waiting thats the pain in the bum. But you do what you think is right.

Oh, you poor thing! You really have got your hands full. As for asking for the results on the phone... um... it depends on how strong you feel. Talking to someone face to face is the better option because you'd be surprised by how much we depend on watching another person's body-language to pick up nuances of meaning.

Hi Sarah,

Really sorry to hear that all your children are poorly in one way or another.

I agree with Kate it is amazing how much we rely on watching people and their reactions especially when we are asking questions.
