ding ding seconds away round 3

Less than one minute read time.

well this little bugger refuses to give up and die ..i don't mean me by the way ! the cancer . today i got a call from the hospital to say a 5mm mass has been found in the same place ( vaginal ) and they are treating it as a reaccurance ....part of me is releaved i knew something was wrong and people kept on telling me  it can't come back so quickly so part of me is like told ya so . i don't know its all so horrid as you all know ...so this is the 3rd time i've had cancer in 2 years ..is that a record ? .

on the brightside the tumour is small in comparrison to my previous and they don't sound like they are giving up yet ..they are sending me to the butchers , sorry surgons, and they want to discuss 'major surgury ' whatever that means think it will mean removing the bowel and bladder as have been discussed before ..can't get my head around it all ..sorry to be the bearer of bad news

  • Oh Sammieo... what a b*tch!  I wish you the strength to fight this bl**dy thing. On an 'up' note, at least the medics haven't given up and are finding new ways to kick the cancer into touch.

    All my best wishes,

thanks kate ..at the momment it doesn't sound like they've given up ...  i presume pallitive care would mean more chemo and to suggest surgury  maybe suggests some hope ... i'm just so very very tierd of it all now , and yes so very unfair

I totally understand Sam, I would not want news like that announced on FB either.

Geez some people seem to get more than their fair share of sh*t don't they!

We need to get you a bucket of Kezzers tea, that will get you fighting fit.  You know we won't let you give up.  Even if it means pushing and shoving you (in the nicest possible way of course) to get you motivated.

As a friend of yours on FB, I've seen the photos of your darling kids, that should be motivation enough Sam......you need them, they need you - cancer can pee right off out of it, once and for all.

    Love & Strength
