Has any one got a parastomal hernia. I have one after radical cyctestomy and it is causing back ache and discomfort when I walk. I just wondered if anyone has one how are they coping with it. Any tips wou;ld be great. Thanks in advance.

I have got two hernias - both large but then I am large. One is on the stoma and one is on the operation scar. I wear stoma support pants from Charter healthcare on prescription and they seem to help. There are apparently support vests and T shirts but I haven't sourced them yet. The pants are like in blcak or white in different sizes. Google charterhealthcare and then look at their website. Any probems you can IM me.
