Bit of Unashamed Fundraising

Less than one minute read time.

Hi guys

I'm no good at fundraising, bit shy to ask people for money, bit lazy to run a marathon, I've already done jumping off high buildings years ago, my hair may need shaving off soon anyhow,  and I don't feel like sitting in a bath of baked beans either, but I will give this month personally  50p for every person who leaves a comment on my blog so far  (up to £25 total) to Macmillans during March.  Lets face it to have to sit and read through the thing, I should be giving you money (but I won't).

So get out there and send it to everyone you can think of.  It may even save a life.  My symptoms have disappeared and I could have thought "Great, only a bleeding pile" and then found out a year down the line it was well advanced cancer.

Thank you

Sue

What a fabulous idea Sue! I am holding a fundraising night in June in our local Bowling Club in memory of my dad who passed away in April last year. We are splitting the proceeds between Macmillan and the local hospice.

    Good luck with your fundraising,

    Christine xx

What a brill idea Sue! I'm lacking in such great imagination but I am grimly plodding towards the London marathon for Macmillan. At this point in time your way of fundraising seems much more appealing! So does sitting in baked beans! Best of luck, Bx
