So, I battled through the snow today (6 hour round trip) to get the results of my colonscopy. They showed no sign of carcinoid in the caecum. So I've got to go back and have the ocreotide scan again and then probably my ovary and appendix removed. Not quite what I was hoping for, but reading some of the other posts I guess I should be feeling happy.
