May 2014, secondary mets - 2 years on

Less than one minute read time.
Two years on, I hear us say "Here we go again",
Tests and scans completed it really is a drain.
Now in his liver we were told two mets, or possibly three
"A liver resection to remove the parts then you'll be cancer free."
35 staples, a few more holes his tummy is a sight
A treasure map, one good man and a nasty pirate to fight.
The kids now talk of Thomas Tank riding on the track.
"Choo choo" they say, repeatidly whilst Daddy lies on his back.
"No chemo" this time round they say,  Oh how relieved we are

Let's plan a summer get away we don't care, near or far.
