Two years on, I hear us say "Here we go again",
Tests and scans completed it really is a drain.
Now in his liver we were told two mets, or possibly three
"A liver resection to remove the parts then you'll be cancer free."
35 staples, a few more holes his tummy is a sight
A treasure map, one good man and a nasty pirate to fight.
The kids now talk of Thomas Tank riding on the track…

My Daddy has a stoma, I think we'll call him Stu
And a little bag called Colin who collects up all his poo.

My Daddy started bleeding when he went to use the loo,
So he went to see the Doctor who decided what to do.

"An operation is best I think to sort this tumour out
Mr Harmston is the best there is of that I have no doubt”.

The operation went very well where Stu and Colin arrived,
    My Daddy stayed…
