its the old 1 in 3 get some form of cancer...

i never thought why me.....i thought im glad its me and not my daughter...

and i bet your dad thought the same thing...

to your dad, it wouldnt have been the worst thing in the world....but it would have been if it had been you or your children...

now.....you must find away to go on and live the good life that your dad would so so want and need you to do..

live for your dad.....and find away to smile and laugh for him.....because thats so so what your dad would want and what he would be saying to you right now if he could ...

course, its easy to say isnt it.....and its not so easy to do...

you love your dad......so do it for your dad....

you know..when you smile.....your dad will be smiling with you......

well you see i have a daughter ...shes 23 now...

being a patient i know your dad would have thought exactly what i thought...

phew...thank ferk it me and not my daughter...

and allways remember that your dad so so wants you to be ok......

he doesnt want you crying and sad all the time...

but as i say.....its not that simple is it and its not that easy....

thinking that way might just help you a little bit...

those that die so so want those left behind to be ok ...its the most important thing to nearly all the patients i have ever met..

but i know.....its not allways that easy is it and there will be bad days...try and have some good ones for your dad...
