So next week I start treatment. It's been quick to arrange and start after Xmas on 4 January..Really loved having Xmas day out with my family but have had to be a bit careful with Omincron flying around. We've all had our third vaccine but truth is I will be vunerable at a time when virus is suppose to be rampant.
It's hard waiting. Walking and riding are my ways to help with mental state but with my leg still in brace it's not possible. My sleep is intermittent but the worry is always there. Farrah Fawcett apparently had the same cancer and was cured, but then got secondary cancer which she died from.
But we stay positive and just start trying to organise ourselves for a few difficult months. We have sorted out carer for horses, had Capella's shoes taken off and trimmed, tried to organise all trades for site, had flu and pneumonia injections, got early dental appointment and been to Cook to buy few easy meals for difficult days.
Oliver is starting university in Feb which is great news. We are very excited for him. Tom is in third year of 4 year degree. John has just started new job. My worries are always for all my boys.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
