Just found out my cancer is incurable

Yesterday that doctor told me that my cancer is incurable.  Without treatment I have only months to live, with treatment I may last up to 2 years.

My son is only 12.  How can I get through this?

    my cancer also is incurable but treatable and i have a 12 year old too.My thoughts are with you and i agree with what debs says

    Sorry to hear you news, I am in the same situation incurable and with a 12 year old and 8 year old, however I feel stronger than ever and take each day at a time.  Stay strong as I say to my doctors I am me not a statistic and they agree.  I have no intention of going anywhere soon.

    It means so much to have all these good wishes.  I AM going to fight this and I am going to prove them wrong.

    I too am 'terminal',  incurable was told I had about 6months in 2007, I'm still here and very much alive so there is hope.
