Macmillan Cancer Information Videos

2 minute read time.

In our latest blog, our editor Amy talks about Macmillan's cancer information videos – and invites you to watch some of our new videos and let us know what you think about them...

Videos from the Macmillan Cancer Information team have been flooding in thick and fast over the years. We’ve produced around 15 videos a year – all to help people affected by cancer be more informed about cancer, its treatments and effects both short and long term.

We now have around 100 videos all hosted on our YouTube channel and across the Macmillan website. Please dive in and discover more information that’s helpful to you.

Recent video highlights have been our animation on keeping warm without worrying about bills this winter, and our portfolio of videos on giving extra help to people affected by cancer who also have a disability.

Our videos cover such a wide range of topics and we’ve experimented with different formats, but 2016 is the year that we want to take stock and find out what videos people affected by cancer really want to watch. We want to continue to improve the information we provide for the millions of people affected by cancer and can only do this with your guidance and feedback.

Below are four recent videos that show off our different formats. Please comment below, telling us which you prefer, or let us know if there’s anything you feel we’re missing. Thanks!

A) Targeted therapies

B) Tips for talking to your doctor

C) Late effects of pelvic radiotherapy

D) Body image
