    Hi,

I think you should sit down with your GP and let him explain the meaning of these medical terms to get a proper and definitive answer to your questions, however if you are good at research you can find the answers on this web site, under 'cancer information' then search under 'Metastatic sigmoid carcinoma' you will find all the information you will need, also if you have a stageing & grading of the cancer this will help you to get a full picture.

    Best wishes.

    Hi

I think its time you had a heart to heart with your dads consultant, you can request a meeting, tell him/her that you need to know whats going on and in terms you will understand, we had this problem with my mum, sometimes consultants forget that we do not understand medical speak or that there is more than just the patient all though they are their priority. Its not alwats good to look at files they just make you more worried not knowing what the terms mean. I really feel for you. please take care and i hope you get the info you need

    Best wishes
