Hello there and welcome.  I'm a new member to this site too - all I can say is there are many other people who'll understand what you're going through.  I hope it is of comfort.

I am sorry I do not know about your cancer either.  One bit of advice - I searched the internet about my cancer - hairy cell leukemia - and you must not take everything you read as gospel.  I needed info too and this can be a good thing - to feel knowledgeable and in control.  However I have learnt through my father's experience and my own that it's very personal.  You are not a statistic.  Take each day as it comes and keep your loved ones close.

The hospital/your consultant should help you with the information you need.  use your time with them wisely - ask what you want.  There are no silly questions.

You take care - Wendy x

Thank you for letting us have more information, ie everything you know about your condition, Natasha.  It sounds very rare, and very complicated - our brains are such complex things, and to have a problem there can make strange things happen all over our bodies.  You are being very brave, and sound as though you are coping with amazing strength.  Let us know what they are going to do for you now to make sure that this thing does not grow any more.  We will try to give you some advice if we can find anything out, but it is important that you and your family get the right support in the hospital.  Have you got a special Cancer MacMillasn nurse for you yet?  What sort of things do you like to do Natasha?  What do you enjoy?  Do you listen to music?  I want to wish you and your family all the best, xxxx Penny
