My husband in 2020 was diagnosed with multiple myeloma the treatment for this caused MDS and P53 cromozone he has had a donor stem cell transplant which we have been given the devastating news it has not worked and there is nothing further they can do has anyone undertaken any trial drugs please let me know

Hi Sas1961 i just came across your blog and just wanted to reach out to you.

I am so sorry to read about your husbands and yours journey. I totally understand the road you have navigated as back in Dec 2014 I was told my Allo (donour) Stem Cell Transplant (SCT) that I had had in June that year had failed........... There were no other treatments available so it was agreed that If I wanted, I could have a second Allo SCT. ad see what would happen........ I had this in Oct 2015 and remain in remission to this day....... it was all a roll of a dice and it just so happened that I was very lucky.

I see that you have joined and posted in our Carers only group and you may want to check out the Supporting someone with incurable cancer group as well.

We also have a Myeloma and a rare blood cancers group MDS/MPN/ET/PV/myelofibrosis (MF)........ it may be worth joining them and putting up your question about trials as there 'may' be someone that can help out ((hugs))
