Just had my last visit to my consultant pre Oncology referral.

He (finally) came up with a 'Papillary' diagnosis for my two tumours. Woot! really had me worried as they kept coming back with 'we dont know yet' comment  for, what seemed like, forever.

The completion work they did on the 12/4/11 showed no further tumours in the right lobe, so all looking good!

Very happy today, mist finally clearing and life…

Went in on the 12th and out on the 14th, would have been earlier this morning but my consultant insisted on seeing me (with a few students) before I went, which brought it up to 5pm, but all the same ,mightily impressed. had a late op on Tuesday, about 6pm,then out for 9pm. Didnt have the same bad effects after the anaesthetic as I had the first time round (did mention it to the anaesthesiologist…

Just had the second letter for my completion work, glad to get the ball rolling and finally put this episode of my treatment to bed. Well go t back home last night at 9pm. Was looking at another night as the drain looks a little full, but the consultant came around about 5pm and gave me the OK. By time I'd been signed off, meds, obs etc, it was 9pm.

well, what can I say, I had more opiates than a Glaswegian Big Issue seller. Im blocked up better than the M25 at rush hour, apart from that, really impressed. The scarring is minimal, very neat…

One whole day left. Admission 8am 1/3/11. All set to go, cant wait for it to be done.

The kids are looking forward to coming to visit me in hospital, Ive told them I might not be able to talk, which they liked the idea of :D Bit dissapointed the visiting hours are only 6.30pm till 8pm, long hours in the day to fill without being able to get around (intially).

Went to the casino last night, last night of freedom…
