My second ABVD of ?

1 minute read time.
Yesterday was my second lot of ABVD Since my 1st one I have not been back to work. I have been very tired and short of breath. No way I could do a 12hr shift plus the traveling time on top of that. Also started developing mouth sores last week, I have a different mouth wash now so fingers crossed that helps. Chemo went OK yesterday, again they were running late and although I got there early I wasn't started until 90 mins after my appointment time. They had problems getting the cannula in at first and after about 5 attempts I nearly passed out. After some air and deep breaths I was OK for them to try again. I suggested another position and a vein was found in only 2 attempts. The Chemo went through fine with no problems, I remembered the tips from this site and took something to help pass the time. I also took a sandwich and a flask of coffee. They do give tea, coffee and biscuits but as its run by volunteers the times vary. The flask was a good idea this week as only saw the trolley once. Once home we had something to eat but I felt quite ill afterwards. I wasn't sick but did at times feel quite nauseous. I have dates for my next two lots in November and provisional dates for December.

    Hi Neilxevo,

yes, the tea trolley is a bit unreliable isnt it?  maybe I should offer next time I'm at the hospital now

I have a little time spare. Are you a reader, if so maybe this is the chance to catch up on some books

or get into Sudoku or something.  Sorry youve been feeling so sick - can they give something for that?

    Take care...
