Well my toe continues to improve and loving being able to wear proper footwear again instead of granny slipper. Its still yukky and a blinking big gap but it is closing slowly still hurts when walking far and when baby jumps on it or dog walks over it or hubby kicks it as he passes or when dropping things on it lol
when i went to preston last they told me two weeks and to keep doing the grotty plasters which i am. i did mention to them that the one on my face seemed to be having a small hole appearing slightly worrying as thats how it started in the first place they said not to worry and that it was probably the dissolvable stiches that hadnt disolved and were working their way to the surface, they would look like fishing wire if they surfaced.
whilst doing ablutions i noticed the top part started to bleed and was taken aback but it soon stopped. i have to massage the scar severl times a day and noticed that it was getting lumpier rather than flatter.
whilst up and down all nite .......steady due to the little one not being well........ i ended up in the bathroom in the wee small hours i touched my scar to find horror of horrors a sharp thing protruding, on closer look in did indeed look like fishing wire and then more appeared it really was like a horror film with all this stuff coming out of my face in front of my eyes. after the initial shock/scream/ and vomiting i composed myself and went back to bed todya there is more erupting and sharp to the touch. only i could reject the bloody stitches lol. so now whilst foot is on the mend the face (and the bit im more concious o)f is playing upand is now very red and pulling.
enough waffle on top of this our middle son was supposed to be on acourse for the weekend with cadets as he has before come 11.30pm we got a phone call he is scarred of the noises and poeple telling ghost stories so after several phone calls includingone to the base to tell the person who was in charge to go and look after my son hubby ended up going to collect him at 1am. as i said little un is poorly so up every few mins and only mummy will do at present including sleeping on me and not letting me out of his sight so our house was more eventful last night than during the day lol
anyway got that off my chest off to wrap some xmas pressies feeling quite smug as almost nearly organised this year now just the birthdays to deal with almost one a day throughout december including middle sons 13th and little uns first in jan.
keep smiling and big hugs xxx
