I'm not sure whether anything like this would be too soon for you but my dad died 10 weeks ago and my mum has been in contact with a group called 'Way Up', it's a support group for those who have been widowed. She's met up with them and talked to them online and has said that she's found them really helpful and kind and most of all, the understand what she's talking about because they've all been there.
