todays update

Less than one minute read time.

Been to see the onc, I will be having FEC and then Hecptin, back on the 8th to see the chemo nurses who will run through everything with me, she has said I will propley have a line put in as my vains arnt much good, had to have bloods done today and it took them 3 attempts to get enough.

Im entered in a dog show on the 10th and she said they could work round that and not start the chemo till after that which is nice. I have got to have some sort of heart scan too and have a check up with bcn on the 9th so thats a bust week.

So still another couple of weeks to wait, cant wait till its all over

Hi - Your treatment is very similar to mine, i already have a line put in my arm - it is restricting but it does mean that the district nurse will do your blood for you at home pre chemo, one less visit to the hospital.

I have a springer spaniel and i am able to take him out still on his lead my 4th chemo is on monday, all being well as i keep getting knocked back due to low blood count, hope the show goes well.
