Well thats the op done and dusted.
Arrived at 8 for and 8.30 appointment as we were worried about traffic, managed to park on the farm track so free parking for the day. Booked in then down to x-ray to have the nucular stuff injected and wandered around for an hour and a half waiting for it to work round my system. Back to have it x-rayed and nodes marked, everyone wishes you luck which I find very un-nearving then back to sugical admissions.
Saw the doctor then went down to theatre at 12.35, woke up in recovery at 4.20 no drain yea:)) it had not spread to my lymp nodes;))
Back to ward had something to eat, soup was nice but the cheese and tomato bake thing left a lot to be desired but I was starving, Let out at just after 8, had 2 pints of tea and cheese on toast bliss:))
No doctor on the ward when I left so couldent get a sick note so have had to ring doctors to try and get one today and they are being less than helpful.
We dont have an upstairs toilet so im peeing in a bucket lol ( and its blue as I was told it would be) will get up later and go downstairs, have my mobile and laptop and my husband waiting on me so nice:))
Bit sore under my arm and my throat is sore but all things considered feel fine:))
Now have to wait till Friday the 13th to find out where we go from here, onwards and upwards at least the op is over:))
