dad went to the toilet while we while we were there, he was in real pain from the radio therapy but they asked him if he wanted a bed pan and he said no, thats good as hes not giving up, while he was there a nurse spoke to me and asked if i knew what happened i said he has had radio therapy, i said he is 65 on tuesday, she said he may be home by then, how i was made to feel is that we may lose him by then, i have been in such a state, feel like a bit of a weight has been lifted, need to sort out next step though as basically dad id mums carer, am going to speak to nurse again tonight about this, thankyou so much heywood, you have put my mind at rest about a few things, i now know dads consultants name too.
on monday he had a ct spine.
he has 5 lots of radio therapy, he did look in horrible pain, he said it is like electric shocks going through him. nurse said he can have morphine for it, they are trying radio therapy and if it doesnt work try chemo. going up mums today to sort house out and next week i am going to try and go to work for few hours..
