immune system issues

i have been bacxk at work for 10 months and seem to be pickign up every bug going, work are now issuing me with an oral warning for passing my consideration point of 8 days, i have said i never use to get colds, does anyone know if my immune system will still be effeted even now.????

Hi Wendy all I can say is it took mine about 14 to 16 months to get back to normal. whilst we are all different remember chemo can take some time to fully clear the system.

Also it may be worth checking what cover or lea way you have under the disability act as your employer may be over stepping the mark, worth a call to either acas or the mac helpline.

thanks ill ring mac helpline 1st, i have an appointment today with the union rep, but its all been one big struggle at work. they just expect me to get back on with it, and in someways i have and can, until it comes to sick and colds, i seem to catch everything now! was missed by my doctor for the flu jab.
