day 5 of 2nd round

1 minute read time.

well i dont feel sick, and the dodgy taste seems to be passing, but boy am i tired! and dizzy again, but the stemetil fix that. i have never known this sort of tiredness i have no desire to do anything except watch telly and lay down, which isnt me - i am an avid World of Warcraft player and i cant even be bothered to do that - Cris and I are meant to be going to the Emirates on Thuirsday but i am worried i will be over tired.....staying over Thursday night and going round it on thursday.

i have watched nearly all my charmed dvds so far and now cant be bothered to get up to change the dics....lol

i am going to make an appointment to see a breast surgeon and a plastic surgeon and consider a double mastectomy, i am not hormone receptive and have been told i have TNBC but no BRAC 1 or 2 - so i think a mastectomy is a good choice. the hair is now all patchy and i must admit i always thought i had a large head, but i dont, but ido have funny shaped ears lol, am in bandanas now all the time, myfriend shaved it down to a number 2, but its still coming out - yesterday was a teary day about it, but am better about it today, as long as Cris doesnt care then i dont either

    Hi Wendy,

Glad your sickness isn't too bad this time. Get used to the tirdeness, mine used to creep up on me and it was if I had been hypnotised lol. I got tired between 3 and 5 then had to sleep. Motivation to do any thing got me down, even to make a drink took a lot for me to do. You get used to having no hair, and it is quite liberating not to have to wash, dry and straighten it every day. It is only short term, and you are still you.

Take care love and hugs Amanda xx

I felt better once I cut mine off - quite suprised by that. I have a great wig - free on NHS via Macmillan - not the cheapo I expected at all. In fact it costs £280 to buy normally! Only use it for going out though. I am now an expert on daytime TV - when I can stay awake that is. Hope you get some helpful adivce from the surgeons, that's not an easy choice to make, but life is worth fighting for.

    All Best Wishes
