chemo

Less than one minute read time.

well i went today but didnt have it, it had been playing on my mind for a while, did i really need, so i decided not and turned it down, it was quite refereshing. they got all of the lump, the nodes were clear and even they said it was just a small liukelyhood that it had gone anywhere else.

i am sure the oncologist will be ringing me, but even the chemo ward didnt have a chair for me today to sit and have chemo, i said to the universe, if i am meant to have it then send me a sign, so no chair, they didnt argue when i said no thanks. i feel better for the thought of unecessarily putting toxins in my system, no disrepsect to anyone here going through it, but i dont want to do this unless i have to!

i will do radiotherapy if offered! i suppose now its get back to normal, i want to get back to work asap. with fingers crossed

  • Hi I know how you feel but mine was the other way round re treatments, I needed the chemo to treat the cancer as I have a type of lymphoma, but I needed to be convinced that radiotherapy was needed. Only time will tell but after some informed discussion the consultant agreed in my case not to go ahead with radiotherapy at this time. A bit like you and chemo it was given as a back up just to make sure.

Plus its nice to know you are incharge of your treatment and not going with the flow.

Hope it works out for you too

    best wishes ... john
