3 days to go

Less than one minute read time.

well its sunday bags are packed and i ready to go practically and emotionally, am fed up having this tumour now i want it out, its annoying and some days feels huge then other days feels tiny, so god knows what is going on, i think it depends on the time of the month i fiddle with it.

partner has gone very quiet and i think yesterday it became real for him, i am nervous but am also ready to get in there and get it sorted.

    Hi Wendy

My husband went very quiet when I got a phone call from my consultant's secretary on a Friday asking me to come in on the Monday. He just sat in a chair looking out of the window not saying anything. I was just so delighted that the op had been brought forward and there was no more waiting. Like you, I just wanted the nasty bits taken away. Wishing you lots of luck with the surgery and look forward to hearing of your progress.

    Wendy

Good luck with the op.  I found that my other half struggled more with the thought of what was going to be done, once my lump had been removed he seemed to feel better.  Just try to remember you are closer to the end of this journey now...

Good luck again, and hugs to you both x

Hi Wendy - wishing you well for your surgery.  Mine was postponed from 4th to 16th Dec, which was really hard to cope with, so am pleased that you haven't got any more waiting.  Take care and look forward to hearing about your recovery.xx

  • Hi Wendy

Good luck with the op. You will be home in no time.

Just get that horrid tumour out of your body.

You will be able to enjoy Christmas.
