I've had quite a lazy weekend for which I'm very grateful. Toni has been nauseous all weekend and so spent a lot of time sleeping and very little time eating so I haven't been running up and down stairs so much. Apart from washing and keeping on top of the kitchen I haven't done much and it's been great. Such a pleasant change from last weekend and running round after the visitors. I'm long past caring about housework. The house is tidy but don't scratch the surface!! I've read the whole of the Sunday papers which is rare. Yes all the supplements too and done the sudoku!
Anyway the Monday slog is almost upon us so it will be back to reality. I've got work in the morning then the usual carer's routine. Then to the hospital for Toni's x-ray on Tuesday then back to see the consultant on Wednesday. I hope the snow continues to melt and the icy footpaths clear up. It's quite treachorous underfoot here.
Toni is feeling better tonight but he's had no food all day except jelly. Cherryl if you're reading this he did choose the lime flavour! Hopefully he will start to get back to 'normal' (whatever that is these days) tomorrow. At least we are seeing the consultant so can mention it then if it doesn't get any better.
I've treated myself to a new laptop. Buy now pay January 2011. So why not?
