I have been doing really good since my last post. I have bumfluff on my head and a couple tiny signs of eyelashes coming back. My weigh isn't really changing yet, but hopefully it will start to come off a bit soon.
Today I had my first appointment with the Radiotherapist. He was really lovely and had a model radiotherapy machine which he used when explaining what would go on. I knew what it was like but for others that probably wouldn't it was a nice touch. He explained I will be having 2 weeks radiotherapy the first 5 days will be targeting the whole of my left breast and the second 5 days will be tumour bed boost, which means they will be targeting just the area where my TNBC was removed when I had my operations.
I will hopefully get a call in the next few days for my planning CT where I have been told I will have 3 small dot tattoos which will be used when I have the radiotherapy so they know where aim. I will have to practice holding my breath for 20 seconds too.
I'm not sure when all this is going to start, but hopefully I'll get the planning appointment quite soon. The rest might not start for another 6 weeks. I'm doing good and going to try and get my life back to normal as much as possible.
