I didnt sleep very well at all lastnight, I had really bad pains in my ankles, whichever way I put my feet the pain just wouldn't go. It is a strange pain, a combination of pain from a sprain, and someone very heavy standing on your foot/ankle.
I gave up trying to sleep at 3am and went downstairs and made a drink and took some paracetamol and an antihistamine. I watched tv for a while then I managed to dozed off for a bit too.
I have carried on taking regular paracetamol to try and ease the pain & discomfort. Hubby has also rubbed Voltarol cream on both ankles and up my legs a bit. I'm hoping after chatting to a few people that it will start to get better in a couple of days. This afternoon I have also had some pain I the pelvic area. I will speak to the district nurses tomorrow when they come to change my picc dressing.
Energy levels are very low this afternoon, will make sure to have an early night tonight. I have a bit of pain in my knee's now too. Once I have the Filgrastim injection I'm off to bed.
