Day 2 Yesterday was a fairly good day apart from waking at 3.15 am, but I was expecting that after all the gubbins that were pumped into me on Friday. I had the Filgrastim infection lastnight and was given the single dose pegfilgrastim again. I took the anti pain medication and amitriptlyline before bed and apart from a couple times I woke with a bit of pain in my thigh I slept like a baby. I finally got up at 11am.
I did a very short stroll around the block today, and have felt zonked since then. I am expecting to have little or no energy for a couple days as that's how it was with the previous dose of Pax & pegfilgrastim.
I will have my dinner and then have an early night, so hubby can watch whenever he wants on TV and hasn't got to worry about me. I'm expecting the pain to really kick in tonight, and more than likely I'll be in bed all day tomorrow.
I did notice today that I have a little bumfluff on my scalp, hubby said about it the other day but I only really noticed it today. I won't hold my breath that it's going to stay though.
I will carry on with my blogs but it will probably be every few days rather than every day.
6.04pm I'm in bed.
