Another good night, even though I got up just before 5.30. I got up mainly because my parents and brother & sister-in-law were coming for dinner today for mothers day. I cooked my signature chicken curry, so it needed a while in the slow cooker.
Had a lovely dinner and afternoon watching the rugby. Time for a bit of a rest now that everyone has gone back home.
The district nurse is due again in the morning to change my picc dressing and take blood's in preparation for this week's, 2nd Paclitaxel.
Hope everyone has had a lovely mother's day, it's always a bit of a sad day for us, as my husbands mum is no longer with us, and we were not lucky enough to have children of our own.
