Only 2 more sessions to go!!!!!!!
I have been fairly good with the last few radiotherapy sessions. I started taking 1 Benadryl antihistamine in the morning before my session, and made sure I didn't have any creams at all on my boobie beforehand. I have been really lucky that all of my sessions have been for 8.45 am, I know it means an early start and we fight through the work traffic to get to the hospital but on the plus side, we never have to hunt for parking and I always go in on time or ahead of time being the first on the list. There are 3 machines in our hospital and I have been in all of them. The staff are fantastic, I mentioned about not having a bell to celebrate the end, but I understand why. I have bought a bottle of Nosecco for Monday to celebrate my final session, I might take it inside to share with them all. I said to hubby he has to come around to the machine waiting area too instead of waiting in the main one. Chocolates purchased, hopefully we won't eat them over the weekend.
I start the zolondronic infusions on 30th July. Will write what they are like too once I start.
Have booked a lodge for our 40th Anniversary it's not far to drive but will be great to have a chill out just the 2 of us.
