We were the last appointment of the day and went in just over an hour late, it was an anxious wait.
The surgeon explained everything very clearly and answered our questions fully so I didn’t mind the wait, we certainly didn’t feel rushed.
He explained about the lymph system, but to cut to the chase he confirmed that the cancer had spread to my liver.
I said “Oh sugar!” I really did, goodness knows why.
He said I would have bowel surgery followed by liver surgery and chemotherapy but needed to hear from the liver specialists first for the exact order. However, the bowel surgery was imminent and would be conducted by another surgeon, a couple of dates later in the month were mentioned as possibilities. One was actually my birthday, but you know - who cares? Certainly not me, I wanted this thing OUT!
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
